  3. WinMerge is Open Source file compare and merge utility which runs on
  4. all modern Windows versions. Some features require additional installs
  5. or components.

  21. WinMerge uses 7-Zip for archive file support. 7-Zip (http://www.7-zip.org)
  22. is Open Source archive tool. To install archive file support, download
  23. 7-Zip plugin installer from http://winmerge.org/.

  25. Installing archive support:
  26. It is recommended to Install 7-Zip application. If this cannot be done for
  27. some reason, 7-zip plugin installer can install only needed files to
  28. enable archive file support. Note that it DOES NOT allow stand-alone
  29. use of 7-Zip, only archive support for WinMerge.

  31. Scripts Support:
  32. If you would like to work with scripts youll need to have the Windows
  33. Scripting Host installed. If you receive any errors relating to your
  34. scripts please visit
